Maharashtra Sport Climbing Association (MSCA)

This is the mandatory rules, regulations and the liability agreement for all individuals desirous of participating in activities organised by the Maharashtra Sport Climbing Association (MSCA)

Compliance
  • Participants must follow all rules, regulations, and instructions issued by MSCA staff.
Timing & Entry
  • Adhere to batch timings. Entry beyond 30 minutes is not allowed.
  • Selected batch timing is final and can't altered
Access Restrictions
  • Parents and visitors are allowed only during declared visiting hours.
Dress Code
  • Proper sportswear and climbing/canvas shoes are mandatory. No walking around in climbing shoes.
Climbing & Belaying
  • Belaying by participants is allowed only with authorization from MSCA- appointed instructor.
  • In case any unauthorized person belays, MSCA will not be responsible for any incident or injury that may occur.
  • Do not distract the belayer while they are on duty.
Route Setting
  • Only MSCA-appointed instructors may set or modify routes.
Safety Equipment
  • Handle equipment responsibly.
  • Do not sit on the ground while wearing a harness or climbing shoes.
Prohibited Activities
  • Alcohol, tobacco, drugs or intoxicants are strictly prohibited.
  • No mobile phones while climbing.
Cleanliness
  • Littering fine: Rs. 100. Use dustbins and keep the facility clean.
Personal Belongings
  • MSCA is not responsible for any loss or damage to participants personal belongings or valuables.
  • Participants are advised to keep valuables safe and carry only essential items.
Medical & Insurance
  • Basic first aid available.
  • MSCA is not responsible for hospital or medical costs.
  • Adequate insurance coverage recommended at own cost.
Damage to Property
  • Costs for damage due to negligence or willful acts will be recovered from the participant.
Termination and Amendments
  • MSCA may terminate participation without refund for rule violations.
  • Rules, timings and fees may be revised without prior notice.

Participant Release & Assumption of Risk

  • Acknowledgement of Risk:
    • Climbing involves inherent risks, including injury, paralysis, or death.
    • Risks exist even with supervision and safety measures.
    • Any Injury of accident during climbing session is climbers own responsibility.
  • Staff Judgment:
    • MSCA staff may make errors in judgment; risks cannot be fully eliminated.
  • Voluntary Acceptance:
    • Participation is voluntary.
    • Full responsibility is assumed by the participant.
  • Release of Liability:
    • I release MSCA, its staff and representatives from any claims including negligence arising from participation.
  • Waiver of Legal Rights:
    • I understand that by signing, I waive the right to sue MSCA for any climbing-related incidents.
    • I confirm I have read, understood and accept all rules and risks.

DECLARATION AND CONCENT

I hereby declare that all information provided in this form is true and accurate. I understand that climbing is an inherently risky activity and agree to follow all safety rules, policies and guidelines established by MSCA.

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks associated with climbing activities and hereby release, waive, and discharge, MSCA, Its owners, staff, coaches and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss or damage that may occur during or as a result of participation in climbing activities.

I further acknowledge that MSCA is not responsible for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings or equipment.
