Experience: 22+ years in mountaineering and rock climbing
Surendra is an avid and experienced mountaineer with twenty-two years of extensive experience in mountaineering and rock climbing. He has undergone various mountaineering courses from reputed institutes, adding not only technical but also real mountaineering skills such as leadership and organizational abilities. He has participated in various Himalayan expeditions and is a summiteer of multiple peaks including Mt. Kedardome, Mt. Nehru Peak, Mt. Rudugaira, and Mt. Dazo-Jongo.
Instead of just concentrating on individual mountaineering skills, he has put efforts into promoting mountaineering and sports climbing, making significant contributions to society. He is the chief coordinator for the International Standard Artificial Climbing Wall constructed in Pune and coordinator of the First Artificial Sports Climbing Wall Project at Pimpri in Maharashtra.
